Wednesday Evening
(SCROLL DOWN for some Day 2 pictures.) Thank you, Thank you for your support, prayers and comments. We read what has come from you at dinner on Wednesday while we ate Jamacian Chicken in three varieties - the knock your socks off spicy Jerk, the medium Fickaseed and the Carribean Curry. The students were glad to hear from you. After dinner we went to a park to "debrief", sharing our thoughts, observations, and reactions from the work so far. Then after pick up soccer, NINJA, and crazy dares on the playground it was back to STAR for devos, prayer time, hang out time...and early to bed - 10:00pm for an early rise tomorrow. Have to be ready to go by 7:45! We'll be at SOME and DC Central Kitchen on Thursday. Then we will participate in an "Urban Plunge" activity. Pray for us to have the eyes, hands and feet of Jesus today. Pray for our sleep, time, efforts, energies and impacts on ourselves and others be mulitplied! By the way, the students prayer request to have the opportunity to share, to be bold as the opportunity arises and for people to hear the gospel message and respond are being answered many fold over! Ephesians 3:14-21 Until the next post...hopefully by the students themselves...God bless you all where you are today!
