Good Friday

What a day - Good Friday! The day we celebrate Jesus's gift of payment for all our sins...the event that makes salvation possible for us.

Wednesday we had a beautiful Commissioning Service. Thank you to all our parents, family members, supporters and school family for attending! Thank you, Mr. Naz for organizing this. Thank you, Mrs. Fort and Mr. Walsh for rallying the school body around us in attendance at the service. Thank you, Mr. Genter for your charge to us. Pascal, you did a great job of sharing your testimony. For that matter all of you have, when it was your turn to do so. Erin from the Arizona team and Hope from the England team - you also did great jobs with your testimonies at the service.

After school that same day, we as the DC team had our final preparation meeting - breaking our fast first with an intimate and reflective communion service together as a team and then with a working pizza snack while we taught each other songs, motions and games that we have prepared to use with groups on our trip.

Thank you to our school family for your donations of socks and school supplies! Thank you, too, for the money from the dress down day with which we will purchase even more items to bless those in DC!

Team - Remember -be at TKCS at 5:15 am Tuesday morning with just one small suitcase & bedding.

Have a Blessed Easter Weekend with Jesus and your family and friends. If you need a place to stay Monday night, contact Mrs. Tuley.

Everyone else...you have a blessed Easter as well. Thank you for your support and your prayers.

Jesus is Risen - He is Risen Indeed!

Pray for us as we get ready, pack, load up and take off. We will be gone from Tues. April 6-Friday April 9.

PS....I hope to have pictures of the team posted sometime later tonight or in the morning - so check back then.
